Customer Reviews

Customer rating is 5 of 5  Great!   2010-09-07
By J. Beck
We got this as a gift for my father-in-law and ended up getting one ourselves after the rave reviews. We have made the strawberry, chocolate and the vanilla recipes so far, and all have come out great (although I would puree the strawberries instead of just finely chopping them in the future). I am not normally a vanilla or strawberry ice cream person, but they were SO good. It is very easy to use and cleaning is easy too. We just clean the bowl right away and put it back in the freezer, so it is ready the next time we want to make ice cream. I highly recommend it!

This product is perfect for making small amounts of delicious ice cream quickly. We have used it for ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet so far with good results. The only real preparation is having the bowl in the freezer for hours prior to beginning the procedure.. We cleared out space in the freezer and leave it there permanently so we can make ice cream without planning ahead. The only criticism is the small quantity that can be made at a time if you have children at home or are entertaining guests so you may want to order a second freezing bowl. Clean up is simple and overall it is a very useful product.

I love my Cuisinart Frozen ice cream maker. I keep the bowl in my freezer ready to go anytime we want ice cream or sorbet. We start the maker while we eat our meal and have delicious frozen dessert ready by the time we are finished eating. We have done this several times when we have had company and they are fascinated by how good and how fast it works. The included recipes are delicious and we prefer them to the ones we had used with our old ice cream maker.
